DAY ONE - Arrival San Juan
Although Puerto Rico is known for its excellent climate and friendly people, you'll also discover an island where past meets present. From one of the most prestigious historic quarters in the New World to one of the ancient archaeological sites of the Tainos - it's yours to experience! Your San Juan hotel is located within walking distance of a popular beach.

DAY TWO - Modern & Historic San Juan
DDiscover modern San Juan on your panoramic drive into Old San Juan, one of the most beautiful old cities in the New World. Lunch is included today. Learn about the history on your guided walking tour of historical Old San Juan. The highlight will be the massive 16th century Fortress of El Morro. Later, visit San Jose Church, the second oldest church in the Western Hemisphere.

DAY THREE - Rain Forest & Playa
Experience two of Puerto Rico's most beautiful natural sights, Luquillo Beach and El Yunque Rainforest. Explore the wildlife paradise of El Yunque, where you'll (witness) waterfalls and observe the park's diverse plant and animal life. Later, you'll have an opportunity to relax and swim on a perfect crescent of sand at Luquillo, a palm tree-lined playa with sublime views of Puerto Rico's rainforest-covered mountains in the distance.






DAY FOUR - Arecibo
(NEW: Explore two of Puerto Rico's most massive landmarks as you visit the impressive Cueva Ventana and the world-famous Arecibo Observatory. Window Cave, as it is also known, is a network of caves atop a limestone cliff once only accessible to locals. Admire the elaborate stalactite and stalagmite formations and discover impressive fauna of the caves that eventually lead to panoramic views across the Rio Grande de Arecibo Valley. Then visit the world's largest radio telescope at Arecibo, a 20-acre (8-hectare) dish used to observe the universe, exploring a range of natural attractions and scientific exhibits on site.)

DAY FIVE - Ponce
On your visit to Ponce, explore Hacienda Buena Vista, a preserved coffee plantation is an impressive setting. Continue to Ponce, Pearl of the South. Your first stop is Serralles Castle, a magnificent example of Spanish Revival architecture popular in the 1920's. Next, stroll the tree-lined spacious plaza with the cathedral and fanciful red and black Parque de Bombas, imported from a world's fair.

DAY SIX - La Parguera
Journey through the Lajas Valley for two night stay at La Parguera. Many nationals come to La Parguera to enjoy the simplicity of a coastal town where nature takes center stage. Although this traditional fishing village has developed into a popular resort community, it has maintained its small town, friendly atmosphere. Enjoy your hotel facilities, meander the boardwalk and souvenir shops or relax by the pool.

DAY SEVEN - Water sports / Bioluminescent Bay
Enjoy your day. Arrange your favorite optional water sports, such as snorkeling or kayaking, each is estimated at $35 to $50. Tonight, board your boat for star gazing and experiencing the magic of the Bioluminescent Bay.

DAY EIGHT - Departure
Transfer to the San Juan International Airport via the trans-island expressway.
